Multiclassing in EFU

The vast majority of multiclass options are available to all in EFU. However, some base classes cannot be multi-classed together without submitting applications.

Perks and Multiclassing

With the addition of several different perk systems in EFU, multiclassing is not so straightforward anymore. If you have a Fighter or Sorcerer Perk, multiclassing will disable them. Rogue has bonuses for remaining pure, but will not lose all of its perks for multiclassing. Utilizing the perk system to your benefit when taking bonuses from rogue or ranger, can result in more diverse builds as well. There are, at this time, no restrictions on multiclassing when it comes to Perks, as the game handles this itself without the need for a DM.

Prestige Classes are not considered classes by the perk system and your PC will remain 'pure' with levels into any of them, retaining all bonuses.

Application-only Multiclasses

Monk and Any Other Class

Before multiclassing as a monk or into a monk, you must submit an application that, in addition to the standard questions, also includes a detailed level plan.

Paladin and Any Other Class

Before multiclassing as a paladin or into a paladin, you must submit an application that, in addition to the standard questions, also includes a detailed level plan.

Fighter, Swashbuckler, and Barbarian

If fighter, swashbuckler, or barbarian is your character's base class, do not multiclass into one of the others without an application.

Monk and Druid

The Monk/Druid multiclass is forbidden.
