Each month corresponds to a julian month, in order, with the same number of days.

  1. Nisah, wherein all things Begin.
  2. Iyar, when the Blossoms announce themselves.
  3. Hziran, where unions of love are formed.
  4. Tammuz, where lovers shed their tears.
  5. Maribeh, where the great Caliph is honoured.
  6. Tabbah, where the sun rages wanton and Pra'raj cackles amidst the Ash.
  7. Illul, when the harvest is reaped.
  8. Qdim, where we give thanks for the life of the blessed Sultana.
  9. Tesrin Hray, when doors are closed to all comers.
  10. Kanön Hray, when doors are opened to all guests.
  11. Subat, the great feast of B'aara and the waters return.
  12. Adar, the darkening of the night and the coming of new things.
