Similar to EFUSL1, it is a web based system running that interfaces with the NWN game server to provide statistics for players and DMs alike. It is not intended to be a full replacement of EFUSL1, but to replace the most common functionality and add new features in a fresh UI. As with its predecessor, the vast majority of features are built for DM eyes only, but this new version begins to introduce features built specifically for players. Some of the benefits include:
* ...the names of player characters currently online!
* ...the status of your [[applications]]!
* ...how many DMs are in-game!
* ...your character sheets!
* ...a few helpful charts!

* Viewing currently logged in characters & their players, DM's, your character sheet, and a few charts.

(Example: /c password Happydog)
One of the most important features of EFUSL2 are the Player Character Notes. Often abbreviated as ''PCN'', these are OOC notes on your character's goals and activities that only you and DMs can see. Character Notes are accessed by logging into EFUSL2, going to the 'My Characters' tab and then clicking the PC you want to make notes on. You will then see a box allowing you to make a comment (max 1024 characters per comment).

* You will then be able to log into EFUSL using your account name and the password entered In-Game.
DMs aren't omniscient. As such, PCNs help keep them informed about your character developments, understand what's going on with them, and keep up to date with their latest antics and accomplishments.

(Example: Username - TestMcGuffins Password - Happydog)
Although it is recommended that you keep your PCNs informative and '''brief''', it is sometimes necessary to create a particularly long or complex PCN entry, beyond what EFUSL2 can support. Thus, you should feel welcome to include links to externally hosted screenshots or to longer entries on forums, document hosts, and elsewhere. In particular, the EFU forum possesses a section specifically set aside for extra long PCN posts; you can create a ticket there under the 'Player Character Notes' subforum and post a link to it in a character's EFUSL2 page!

* Your password is stored securely and is unrecoverable once you type it in.  It's easy to reset, however.  If you type the command again you can change your EFUSL password.
(Example: /c password Happydog2)
==General Changes from EFUSL 1==
Several changes have been made from EFUSL 1, the following is a list of a few of them:
* New modernized UI that is mobile friendly.
* Character comments. This is a personalized feed designed specifically for your character. You can write short comments to keep the DM team up to date on your character's goals and initiatives. This makes it easier and more accessible for DMs to keep up to date with what you're up to. Information that needs to be presented in long-form should be referred to in a link to your post on the [[Personal Character Notes]] forum. DMs can also comment on your character page so that they can coordinate plots and initiatives regarding your character amongst themselves. This helps keep us organized and cohesive with your character's plots.
* New / Returned Charts! While the majority of analytics are for DM eyes only,  we are exposing some of our server traffic charts to the public.
We hope that these additions to EFUSL will be a useful tool to the community. Bug reports and feature requests are welcome.

EFUSL2

What is EFUSL2?

EFUSL2 stands for EFU: Statistics and Logging (v2). It is a web based system that interfaces with the NWN game server to aggregate data and record in-game developments. Although the vast majority of features are for DM eyes only, many conveniences have been implemented for the broader community. As examples, you can use EFUSL2 to see...

  • ...the names of player characters currently online!
  • ...the status of your applications!
  • ...how many DMs are in-game!
  • ...your character sheets!
  • ...a few helpful charts!

How do I access EFUSL2?

EFUSL2 is a separate website, so you'll have to attend the following link: EFUSL2

You will need to validate your EFUSL2 account with a Discord account. All the better, as we'll be glad to see you soon in the official EFU Discord channel! #EFU

Create an account there and you'll receive a unique code string! Do not share the code with anyone! Copy the code and post it in-game on any character with the "/c identify" command. The code will automatically link your CD key to your EFUSL2 account.

Congratulations! That's all you have to do! You'll have full access to EFUSL2 functions in no time at all! But if you have any trouble along the way, feel free to ask questions on our Discord server. We're happy to help.

Player Character Notes

One of the most important features of EFUSL2 are the Player Character Notes. Often abbreviated as PCN, these are OOC notes on your character's goals and activities that only you and DMs can see. Character Notes are accessed by logging into EFUSL2, going to the 'My Characters' tab and then clicking the PC you want to make notes on. You will then see a box allowing you to make a comment (max 1024 characters per comment).

DMs aren't omniscient. As such, PCNs help keep them informed about your character developments, understand what's going on with them, and keep up to date with their latest antics and accomplishments.

Although it is recommended that you keep your PCNs informative and brief, it is sometimes necessary to create a particularly long or complex PCN entry, beyond what EFUSL2 can support.
